Thanksgiving might very well be my favorite holiday. There's no better way to start Thanksgiving week than by partaking in the America's Hometown Thanksgiving events. Just like last year, I was lucky to portray a milliner in the Historic Village on the grounds of the incredibly historic Brewster Garden along "Town Brook". Gowns representing the 70s, 80s and 90s: the Crazy Brown Gown, my old Blue Chintz Gown and the more recent 1795 Work gown.

Notice the pink pudding cap hanging on the top right corner? It has proven more useful as a talking point at public history events than as an accessory for my daughter. Even if you don't have a little one in your life I would recommend making one for that purpose.

It's nice to see another perspective of this event. It certainly was enjoyable. I was amazed at how many participants I knew, including you! Sometimes the world is so small. :)

Yes it is a really nice event, I don't know of many others that celebrate nearly every era. It was nice seeing you as well!
