Polly and Ann Marie

Recently photographer Lew Keen shared these great photos from last summer when my daughter and I portrayed residents Polly and little Anne Marie Lyman, and represented the 1780s for a special event. Many thanks to Lew for taking these images!

Miss A. wore her first "history dress", the c1808 girl's frock and handsewn black cotton shoes. I know this dress represents the wrong era, but it was before I completed her leading strings gown.

I wore my striped cherryderry gown that was inspired by a Museum of London gown. The lightweight fabric makes it my favorite summer option.
